The Transactions option is an option which allows an owner or manager to correct tor adjust the clocking in and out transactions for employees. There may be times when the computer date or time is incorrect, and the time clocked in or out needs to be adjusted. .
To add a transaction record
1. Click on ADD on the toolbar at the bottom of the screen.
2. Use the FIELD DESCRIPTIONS table(s) to help you fill in the fields on each screen.
The maintenance for the employee transaction records is similar to the Support File maintenance.

The trans_date column contains the transaction date for the employee time. This transaction includes the date mm/dd/yyyy and the time hh:mm:ss AM or PM. |

The direction column contains whether the employee's transaction clocked them in or out. |

The type column contains the type of time transaction. When an employee clocks in or out using the Clock In/Out option, the type of transaction is automatically set to "REGULAR". A supervisor may need to input other time transactions, such as sick time or holiday pay, and these types can be assigned when a time transaction record is added. Regular - regular hourly time transactions Overtime - overtime hourly time transactions Vacation - vacation based on hourly time transactions Holiday - holiday based on hourly time transactions Sick - sick time based on hourly time transactions |

Right-click anywhere on the Employee Transactions grid, and a drop-down menu is displayed. Insert 1 Hour - inserts 1 hour from the beginning date/time you specify. Insert 30 minutes - inserts 30 minutes from the beginning date/time you specify. Insert 15 minutes - inserts 15 minutes from the beginning date/time you specify. Insert an 'IN' Transaction - inserts a clock in transaction for the beginning date/time you specify. Insert an 'OUT' Transaction - inserts a clock out transaction for the date/time you specify. |
3. Click SAVE on the toolbar, when all the information is correct.
To delete an employee time transaction
1. Highlight the row for the time transaction you want to delete.
2. Press the DELETE key on your keyboard.

Delete Rows You have select 1 row for deletion. |
If you select YES the highlighted rows are permanently deleted.
If you select NO the highlighted rows are not deleted and the message box is cleared.
