Style

The Style file allows you to set up the many different styles of inventory you may have.  This option is especially useful for furniture.  You may have two different styles of black living room suites.  This file allows you to distinguish them by style "Early American" or "Contemporary".

Styles are used by the Inventory File to help identify or describe inventory. The styles entered in this file are listed in the drop-down box on the Inventory screen.

This is an example of (5) five style records.  Style records are displayed in a grid.

What if I don't want to track a style for an inventory item?

If you do not want to track a style code for an inventory item, you must ADD a style code with the name "NOT USED" or "NO STYLE", some way to designate that there is not a style being tracked.  Use this style code when adding inventory for which you do not want to track the style.
