The status bar is always displayed at the bottom of the screen in The RAM System.  The information for the current open day is listed in this status bar along with any processing messages.


 

FIELD DESCRIPTIONS - STATUS BAR
Store Name

Name

The company name you have input in Company Setup under the Company Info tab is the name that is displayed in the first box in a scrolling mode.
System Date/Time

The system date and time is displayed in the next box.
Open Date


The current open day is listed next to the open sign.  This is the date for which information is being processed and updated.
 
If the day is closed:

There is no open day listed next to this sign.
Information Panel

The information panel displays any calculations being processed in the system.  In this example, the "Calculating Routes. . " message is displayed during the Daily Summary calculations.

 

 
Logged In User Panel

The logged in user panel displays the current user status.  This panel shows either the user name who is currently logged in or that No User is logged in.

Num Lock

The system panel "NUM LOCK" indicator tells you when the NUM LOCK is on, for your keyboard.

Cap Lock

The system panel "CAP LOCK" indicator tells you when the CAP LOCK is on, for your keyboard.

INS or OVR

The system panel "INSERT" or "OVERWRITE" mode indicator tells you which mode you are in.
