Drop-down boxes allow the user to see the records from another file.  Some drop-down boxes are filled in by the system and some are dependent on another file for their contents.  Most drop-down boxes display all the records for that particular file.  However, there are situations where only a certain set of records is displayed, like when you terminate an item and want to return it to inventory. In that case the only status codes listed in that drop-down box are the ones with an (I) Idle Available status type.
