The Brand File contains one record for each brand your store rents. The brand refers to the name brand of the inventory items the user inputs in the Inventory File. The Brand file supports the Model and Inventory Files, and allows your company to use a standardized brand description and code for your entire rental operation.
Brands are used by the Inventory File to help identify inventory items. The brands entered in this file are listed in the drop-down box on the Inventory screen.

This is an example of the brand grid, with (14) fourteen brands listed. Brand records are displayed in a grid.
