Application

Retain each customer's rental application on the computer system with the Application option. This file allows you to track up to (6) six references with address, phone number and relationship information, (2) two different employer information and car make and model information for each customer in the Customer File.

The customers who have an application record on file are displayed in this grid.

To search applications

Click the column for the field you want to search and the search box at the top of the grid is changed to search the selected field. Type in the value you are looking for and press the TAB key. The selected customer is highlighted in the grid, and you can click PROCEED to view the details about this customer's application.

To add an application record

1. Click Add New on the Application grid.

2. Choose a customer from the drop-down list and press TAB. (The customer information box displays "Choose Customer" until a customer is chosen.)

3. Use the FIELD DESCRIPTIONS table(s) to help you fill in the fields on each screen. Since this file contains more fields than will fit on one screen, there are tabs containing more fields for input. Be sure to check these tabs before saving.

4. Click SAVE, when all the information is correct.

Use Customer Applications

The Use Customer Applications option must be CHECKED in Company Setup to track the application (or order form) information in the computer.

Remember, the system must be open in order to add or change any information.
