Active Items by Category

This report prints active items separated by category listing rates, balance, term and remaining periods.

Report Parameters - ACTIVE ITEMS BY CATEGORY The report parameters screen allows you to specify which data you want to see on the report.
Beginning Department	Enter a range of departments to print beginning with this department. The drop-down box lists the department codes entered previously in the Department file. Press the F8 key to print this report for ALL departments.
Ending Department	Enter a range of departments to print ending with this department. The drop-down box lists the department codes entered previously in the Department file. Press the F8 key to print this report for ALL departments.
Beginning Category	Enter a range of categories to print beginning with this category. The drop-down box lists the categories entered previously in the Category file. Press the F8 key to print this report for ALL categories.
Ending Category	Enter a range of categories to print ending with this category. The drop-down box lists the categories entered previously in the Category file. Press the F8 key to print this report for ALL categories.
Show Item Detail	This parameter determines whether or not to list the information about each individual item on this report. YES Choose Yes to list each of the items on the Active Items by Category report. See With Item Detail example below. NO Choose No to list the totals for each category without listing each individual item. See No Item Detail example below.
	When the information on the parameter screen is correct, choose the output method from the Report Toolbar at the bottom of the screen.

REPORT DETAIL FIELDS - ACTIVE ITEMS BY CATEGORY (WITH ITEM DETAIL)
Customer Number	The customer number for the customer renting the item displayed is listed in this column.
Customer Name	The customer's name renting the item displayed is listed in this column.
Item No.	This column contains the item number being rented.
Model Number	This column contains the model number for the item being rented.
Serial Number	This column contains the serial number for the item being rented.
Cost	This column contains the item cost for the item being rented.
Income	This column contains the total income for this item. This figure is calculated by adding the Misc. Income and the Rental Income together.
Mo Rate	This column contains the monthly rental rate associated with this particular rental of this inventory item.
Wk Rate	This column contains the weekly rental rate associated with this particular rental of this inventory item.
Balance	This column contains the remaining balance for this particular rental of this inventory item. This figure is the item balance, if this item is rented on an agreement with other items, the remaining balance on those items is not included in this figure.

{GROUPING - This report is grouped by department and each department listed on the report is sub-totalled.

This report is also grouped by category and each category listed on the report is sub-totalled.

Total Cost	This is the total cost for all the items listed in this category.
Total Income	This is the total combined income for all the items listed in this category. Remember the income listed here is the combination of Rental Income and Misc. Income for each item.
Mo. Rate	This is the total monthly rental rate for the items listed in this category. This monthly rate reflects the current monthly rate for the agreement for which this item is currently active.
Wk. Rate	This is the total weekly rental rate for the items listed in this category. This weekly rate reflects the current weekly rate for the agreement for which this item is currently active.
Balance	This is the total item balance for the items listed in this category.
Avg Cost	This is the average cost for all items listed in this category. This figure is calculated by taking the total cost in this category and dividing by the total number of active items in this category.
Avg Income	This is the average combined income for all items listed in this category. This figure is calculated by taking the total income in this category and dividing by the total number of active items in this category.
Avg Mo Rate	This is the average monthly rental rate for all the items listed in this category. This figure is calculated by taking the total monthly rental rate in this category and dividing by the total number of active items in this category.
Avg Wk Rate	This is the average weekly rental rate for all the items listed in this category. This figure is calculated by taking the total weekly rental rate in this category and dividing by the total number of active items in this category.
Avg Balance	This is the average remaining item balance for all items listed in this category. This figure is calculated by taking the total remaining balance in this category and dividing by the total number of active items in this category.
