LOCATE INVENTORY - assigns the appropriate store location number to each inventory item being depreciated.  This "locate" assigns the location number where the item was for the period of depreciation you are processing.  If the depreciation is being processed for Oct. 2007, the system checks the transfers in and out to see where the item was during this depreciation period.  This allows the system to provide you with accurate depreciation figures for each location in your corporation based on the physical location of each item during the depreciation period.  Locate inventory is automatically processed during the Import and during Calculate Depreciation option.
