Colors

The Color File allows you to set up as many colors of inventory as are used by your company.  In this way you are able to keep track of different colors that may be moving better than others.  This file is especially useful for furniture colors such as sofas.

Colors are used by the Inventory File to help group categories into larger groups.  The colors entered in this file are listed in the drop-down box on the Inventory screen.

This is an example of (3) three color records.  Color records are displayed in a grid.

If you do not want to track the color for an inventory item, you must ADD a record in the Color File that has a color name of "NOT USED" or "NO COLOR", some way to designate that there is not a color being tracked.  Then use this color code when adding inventory for which you do not want to track color.
